Arrow Quotes-Tuesdays with Morrie

الفكرة الاساسية للكتاب تتلخص فى الكاتب (Mitch Albom ) واستاذه فى الجامعة لمادة علم

الاجتماع (Morrie Schwartz) والذى انقطعت علاقته به بعد تخرجه من الجامعة بعد أن كان الاستاذ

محبوباً ومقرباً من جميع الطلاب وكان ميتش من اصدقائه المقربين..عادت علاقتها معاً بعد ما يقارب

الخمسة عشر عاماً بعد أن ظهر موري فى برنامج تلفزيونى إثر أصابه بمرض قاتل لم يكتشف علاجه

فى ذلك الوقت-المرض يصيب الجهاز العصبى ويدمره تماماً ويشَبّه المرض باحتراق الشمعة إذ يتداعى

الجسم بنفس منطق ذوبان الشمع وتفقد الاعضاء تماسكها الكتلى - غايتو انا متخيلة كده ما يجوا

الدكاترة يمسكونى من رقبتى - إختصار الاسم العلمى للمرض ALS .

يتحدث الكتاب عن مفهوم الحياة السليمة من واقع تجربة مورى ونورد مقتطفات من الكتاب:


On Culture:

"The culture we have does not make people feel good about themselves. And you have to be strong enough to say if the culture doesn't work, don't buy it." (p.42)

"People are only mean when they're threatened, and that's what our culture does...And when you get threatened, you start looking out only for yourself. You start making money a god. It is all part of this culture." (p.42)
